HMSHost International wins Helsinki contract: four new stores for six years, valued at over 50 million Euro

HMSHost International has reinforced its position in the Nordics. Continuing to build on the longstanding collaboration with Finavia at Helsinki Airport in Finland, HMSHost was awarded an additional four stores for a contract term of six years, valued at more than 50 million Euro.

Mipim 2023 is kicking off in the Cannes

Today the real estate fair Mipim started in Cannes. It will take place until March 17th. Organizer RX expects 23,000 participants from over 90 countries this year, which would be 15% more visitors than in 2022.

Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof reportedly wants to close 40% of its remaining stores. Germany’s last major department store plans to shut the stores in two phases, with the first closing down at the end of June and the rest at the end of January.

Chainels continues to expand in France and increases its presence at Accessite

Chainels has increased its footprint in France through a collaboration with Accessite, a major player in the French retail property market. Accessite will use Chainels’ tenant experience platform and plan to deploy the white-labelled app, TALKIE by Accessite, to more of its shopping centres.
