“We simply had to come up with something to provide an alternative to the very popular German Council Congress in Berlin that would also take Corona into account,” says Christine Hager, Chairwoman of the German Council of Shopping Places (GCSP) regarding her work over the past months, and adds, “We will come together on September 10, at three locations with the allowed number of participants, for five themed sessions, as one community, therefore we called the new format 3-5-1.”
The conference program will be produced simultaneously in Berlin, Hamburg, and Düsseldorf before it will be merged centrally in order to ensure that all participants may experience all panel discussions and keynotes from all locations. Those who cannot experience the event at one of the locations can join the conference via live stream. The event’s motto is BREAK/SHAKE/TAKE and it sums up the current challenges.
The speakers will discuss what we have to stop doing, what we have to change, and what we have to bring along. Gabor Steingart (Media Pioneer) will be the keynote speaker and the event will be hosted by Judith Rakers as well as Cornelia Pletto, Thomas Jensen (Wacken Open Air), Christoph Werner (dm), Alexander Otto (ECE), and Annette Kröger (Allianz RE).
