Oliver Kramny will take over the management of KaDeWe in Berlin on April 1. Kramny joined the KaDeWe Group in 2020 as Head of Sales with overall responsibility for the food floor “Die Sechste”, before taking over purchasing in the food division two years later as Senior Head of Food & Business Development. In future, Kramny will report directly to Chief Retail Officer Timo Weber.

Jan Niclas Brandt will become the new CEO of MediaMarkt Austria and MediaMarkt Switzerland starting April 1, 2024. He is taking on this dual role as part of a strategic realignment of the management levels in both countries. The aim is to grow closer together operationally and to benefit from complementary skills. Cooperation with the parent company will also be intensified.

Kristin Käpplinger has been appointed Head of Product at Gabor, with effect from April 1. She is moving from Austrian shoe manufacturer Legero United, where she worked for over six years and most recently held the role of Managing Director. According to her profile on the career network Linkedin, she previously worked for almost 15 years in various roles at the Danish shoe manufacturer Ecco.
Kevin Plank

Founder Kevin Plank, who currently serves as Executive Chairman, will take over the management of the operating business again as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on April 1. Plank founded Under Armour in 1996 and led it as CEO and Chairman until the end of 2019.

Bodo Kipper, Head of Retail and Marketplace at Otto Group, has left the company as of the end of the 2023 financial year. He joined OTTO in 2020. As Head of Retail and Marketplace, he shaped the successful transformation of otto.de’s overall business from retailer to platform. Bodo Kipper was also responsible for the entire digitization and automation process of the company’s own retail business as well as the business with platform partners, which has led to significant efficiency gains.
