From April to June, Designer Outlet Croatia is hosting a number of initiatives to promote sustainability. This includes the introduction of limited edition eco-friendly shopping bags illustrated by local students, reflecting Croatian regions and the architectural style of the centre, and an art exhibition with drawings by students showing their commitment to environmental protection. In addition, educational eco-workshops offered hands-on experiences such as planting mini-gardens and creating terrariums, complemented by expert lectures and collaborative partnerships with IKEA.
Throughout the center there are specially designed signposts to educate visitors about biodiversity and environmental conservation. A drop box has also been installed to recycle old clothes, an initiative that is already in place in the vast majority of centres in the ROS portfolio within the #bettershopping campaign.
With these initiatives, Designer Outlet Croatia aims to be a champion of sustainability, inspiring citizens to embrace eco-friendly habits for a greener future.
