At the Dutch retailer, Wiggers-Voellm will be part of the 16-strong management team and report directly to Managing Director Hajir Hajji.
She was in charge of Primark’s operations in Germany and Austria for almost five years. During her time at the helm of the textile discounter, she led the restructuring of the company. The handover of her duties to Lisa Shannon, currently Retail Director at the global headquarters in Dublin, is already underway. In the long term, a new manager is to be recruited for the top position in Germany.
Action, known for its aggressive expansion strategy, currently operates 2679 stores in twelve countries, 542 of which are in Germany.
