SES To Award The yip.at Business Promotion Prize For The Fifth Time

Already for the fifth time, SES Spar European Shopping Centers is awarding the yip.at Business Promotion Prize to the best implemented business ideas in stationary retail via its yip.at digital initiative.

This year, more than 100 applications have already been received from all over Austria, and the four-member expert jury has now also been selected. After the submission deadline on September 30, 2024, the jury will select the three winners of the yip.at Business Promotion Award from all projects.

The announcement of this year’s winners will take place in November. They will receive the yip.at Business Promotion Award with a total value of EUR 10,000 and a promotional package in one of the 15 SES shopping centers in Austria.

The panel of experts includes Martin Kaswurm from Salzburg, Managing Director of live marketing agency Chaka2, and incubator Managing Director Dejan Jovicevic from Vienna, two absolute start-up enthusiasts. Initiator SES Spar European Shopping Centers brings two experts in stationary retail onto the jury: Marketing Manager Stefanie Kocher and Head of Leasing Friedrich Einböck.

The yip.at initiative, launched by Austria’s leading shopping mall operator SES back in 2020, aims to support start-ups and small businesses operating in Austria to further develop their concepts and projects. To this end, retail, gastronomy, service and craft businesses from all over Austria are brought before the curtain – because yip.at offers (young) entrepreneurs a free platform to strengthen their visibility.
