Resourcify — The Digital Operating System For Circularity

Resourcify is the digital operating system for the circular economy that is changing the way people manage waste.

Waste accumulation is a pressing issue for communities and the environment, and companies need to tackle this by improving their waste management and recycling strategies. Resourcify’s platform digitizes this process for them, in a market that is projected to be worth around double the size of the logistics market by 2030.

Established in 2015, the company is committed to setting new standards in waste management and recycling, as well as supporting organisations on their path to sustainability.

Resourcify aims to enable a zero-waste future powered by the advancements that technology brings to the table. Their all-in-one waste management and recycling platform aims to help numerous industries solve their day-to-day efficiency and cost challenges, as well as empowering them with the tools they need to steer their organization towards zero waste.

The company’s platform connects global companies with local recyclers to optimize their sorting and recycling, improving existing processes, saving hundreds of hours of labour per client, and reducing total costs. Among many other sectors, Resourcify also has a solution for the retail industry as it helps retail companies digitise their operations to harmonise their processes and increase transparency across multiple locations.

Customers can use the tool to see which waste is generated at which points in the company. The startup evaluates the data in detail and creates reports on how processes can be optimized to reduce waste volumes and costs. Resourcify maps more than 200 types of waste. Disposers then take care of collecting, weighing and sorting discarded waste from the company. They then return the data to the customer. In addition, recyclable materials are returned to the material cycle.

The platform is used by several leading enterprises in Europe, including McDonald’s and Johnson & Johnson, in addition to some of the largest companies in Resourcify’s home market of Germany, including Hornbach, REWE, and Frankfurt Airport.
