He succeeds Christian Mielke who is leaving the company at his own request. Borg joined Metro Properties as Head of Department of Project Development on October 1, 2005. With effect from January 1, 2012 he was appointed Director Project Development at the real estate company. Within the framework of these current duties he is already intensively involved in the development of major projects in the region Germany. The 43-year-old manager graduated as a civil engineer from RWTH Aachen University and had already worked for several years in the field of project development before joining Metro Properties. Borg will continue to report to the CEO of Metro Properties, Jean-Christophe Bretxa. “Oliver Borg has been a valuable member of our team for many years already. He is intimately familiar with the issues and the employees. That is a great advantage,” said Bretxa.
