Kai-Uwe Reitmann is the new member of the top management team of ATP TLP Moscow

In June 2020, the architect and “urban manager” (MSc) Kai-Uwe Reitmann joined the dual leadership system of ATP TLP Moscow.

The German expert, who has lived in Russia for many years, will lead the approximately 90 employees of the joint venture (2011) between ATP architects engineers and TLP Tsimailo Lyashenko & Partners alongside the engineer Vladimir Horton.

Kai-Uwe Reitmann will replace the Austrian industrial engineer Karl Pein in the management duo. After five years with ATP TLP Moscow (of which he has been a managing director since 2017) Pein is returning to Styria, where he will continue to promote ATP’s culture of integrated design.

“What I really appreciate about ATP are the ways in which it truly focuses on the core processes of buildings and all disciplines cooperate throughout the design process – from the project idea to the completion of the building,” says Kai-Uwe Reitmann, underlining his reasons for choosing a career with ATP TLP.

Reitmann studied architecture at TU Dresden and EAPLD (Paris) as well as “Urban Management” at the University of Leipzig. The German, who speaks fluent Russian, worked for the construction and real estate consultants Drees & Sommer in Moscow and Saint Petersburg for 12 years. As a manager in the field of interdisciplinary management (consultancy, design, construction) Reitmann was responsible for projects across Eurasia in a number of sectors (education, hospitality, housing, offices, retail, industrial).

“My objective is to work with my colleague Vladimir Horton to further develop the position of ATP TLP as one of the few international design offices in Russia and to build bridges with Europe,” says the new Managing Director.
