Galeria Wiślanka opened

Żory is a city with over 60,000 inhabitants that has just acquired a modern shopping mall. On October 22dn this year, at 13, the first, modern shopping and entertainment center Galeria Wiślanka was officially opened.

The project is unique in several respects. First of all, Żory was one of the last medium-sized cities in Poland without a shopping mall. Secondly – the gallery is practically 100 pct leased. – only two 50-meter flats have been left. Thirdly – the multiplex in Wiślanka is the only new cinema opened in Poland in 2020! In addition – such a large project was implemented by a domestic investor – Wiślanka S.A. from Jastrzębie Zdrój.

– It is one of the last new shopping and entertainment centers in Poland. Due to the very difficult market situation related to the pandemic and the problems of the commercial industry, this opening can be treated as a “litmus test” and an answer to the question about the future of the industry. The success of nearly 100% commercialization and the results of the first days of the facility’s operation confirm that well-prepared and professionally implemented projects still have a chance of success – says Maciej Mazur, CEO of Mallson Polska.

80 stores with an area of 20 thousand sq m

The gallery is characterized by a very clear layout, an even distribution of the main tenants and a complete offer of all sectors. The mall is located at the intersection of the most important expressways in the region – national road No. 81 with the provincial road 935, which is part of the Żory bypass, leading to the A1 highway. An additional advantage of the project is the vicinity of the Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon hypermarkets and McDonald’s and KFC restaurants. Wiślanka and its neighbors therefore create the largest shopping complex in the region.

The investor – P. Teresa Jonas, in cooperation with the facade and interior designer P.
