Willem Jan van de Water made the move from the Dutch pension fund for rail and public transport workers (formerly SPF Beheer), where he spent four years as senior technical manager. His past employers also include Sweco Real Estate Management and PREAM Architects.
Van de Water has a total of 13 years’ experience in the technical and commercial utilisation of real estate and portfolios. In recent years he has gained a wealth of additional experience in the acquisition and realisation of new-build residential properties.
As ESG Project Manager, a new role within Altera, Van de Water will focus on implementing further sustainability measures in their existing real estate portfolios. His appointment supports the sustainability policy that Altera is pursuing with regard to its real estate portfolios in the residential and food & convenience retail sectors.
