“This merger takes into account the growing awareness of the ´Outletcity´ brand, while simultaniously streamlining administrative processes,” explains Michael Henseling, CFO of Outletcity AG. As part of the merger, the management board was expanded to include the functions of Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The newest member of the management board is Regine Schoellkopf-Pinakidis. She came to Metzingen in 2012 as a retail manager. Since 2019 she has held the position of Director Sales Channel Onsite and is now the first female and also the youngest member of the Executive Board. Stefan Hoffmann, who previously acted as Managing Director Digital & Customer, will hold the position of CDO from now on.
“With Regine Schoellkopf-Pinakidis on the management board, we are introducing a generational change. In her new role, she will be responsible for the operational business on site and will share this responsibility with Stefan Hoffman in his new role as CDO for the areas of B2B management as well as for marketing and customer management,” says Wolfgang Bauer, CEO of Outletcity AG. “With the reorganization of our board, I see a great opportunity to further unite the omnichannel idea. With this orientation, we have a unique selling point in the outlet business, even in the entire retail environment. This, in turn, will lead to us being able to promote the networking of all channels even better,” says Bauer.
