Recently, Promenada celebrated its grand reopening following the completion of a further stage of remodeling. The effects of the redevelopment of this most appealing center in the heart of Warsaw’s Praga district has earned recognition from both real estate experts and readers of sites operated by PTWP publishers, who voted for the nominated projects. At yesterday’s award presentation Gala at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw, Tomasz Hofman, the center’s Director, and Anna Tana, Asset Director collected a statuette for Promenada winning first place in the Prime Property Prize – Investment of the Year category. The nominated projects were evaluated in terms of project quality, completion time, commercialisation process, solution innovation, architecture, as well as the project’s environmental and economic impact on the region.
The Prime Property Prize, with its 12-year tradition, is a competition that identifies companies, projects and personages having played a key role in the development of the commercial property sector throughout the year. In this year’s edition, awards were presented across 12 categories. Winners were selected through the collective voting of members of the Forum of Real Estate Industry Experts and readers of the Propertynews.pl and Propertydesign.pl.
“This award reflects recognition for our efforts from the entire industry. We are truly delighted, particularly as this extensive and structurally challenging redevelopment, completed within a mere year, was carried out with the rest of the centre remaining fully operational. Our goal was to create an interior that would serve not only as a retail space but also one that would encourage leisure, relaxation, and personal growth. When we unveiled the remodelled Promenada to our customers in spring, I dared to claim that it stood out as Warsaw’s most aesthetically pleasing retail facility. As it transpires, these words were not an overstatement, and the statuette in the Investment of the Year category, which we proudly accepted yesterday, serves to confirm this claim”, says Tomasz Hofman, Director of Promenada Shopping Centre, G City Europe.
