The reason for this change in the management position is said to be a company-wide restructuring. Germany will be combined with Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to form the Central Europe unit at URW.
Hohlmann joined URW from ECE in October 2017. Under his leadership, URW developed and built the Überseequartier Hamburg, which, depsite initial plans, is yet to open. The southern Überseequartier in Hamburg has an investment volume of around 1.6 billion euros, and is one of the largest urban development projects in Europe.
Andreas Hohlmann will be succeeded by Jakub Skwarlo, who is currently responsible for URW’s business in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia as COO Central Europe. He has worked for the company in various positions for over 18 years.
