The ICSC’s highest personal honor, the “ICSC Trustees Distinguished Service Award” was presented to RaRE Advise’s Klaus Striebich during the world’s biggest trade fair of the shopping center scene – the “ReCon Las Vegas 2019.” Only 113 people, among which are 20 Europeans, have received this award since it was initiated in 1988 (after Wolfgang Bays, the cofounder of GCSC e.V., and Alexander Otto, the CEO of ECE Projektmanagement GmbH&Co.KG). The award is presented to members who have made outstanding contributions to the ICSC community as well as the entire industry with their distinguished commitment and support.
“I am particularly happy to have received this award. It honors and recognizes many of my activities and initiatives in the industry over the past years, across many borders. Only in a worldwide operating community like the ICSC we can face the manifold issues and challenges. It is a Thank You for what has been achieved so far and even more of an incentive to contribute actively to the positive development of our industry in the future,” says 52-year old Striebich.
