Berghaus Unveils Second Standalone UK Store At Gloucester Quays

Outdoor brand Berghaus has opened its second standalone UK store at Gloucester Quays. With this, the popular brand joins the top 10 UK outlet’s line-up of outdoor retailers.

The new Berghaus store has opened opposite Adidas, delivering its outdoor-focused philosophy and signature range of performance gear to the South West in a standalone store for the first time. Designed to ensure proper support for outdoor exploration of all levels and terrains, the 200 sq m store stocks Berghaus classics such as waterproof jackets, an extensive range of insulated clothing, and a selection of daysacks and durable, comfortable footwear.

The store’s design is also a debut concept for the brand, blending inspiration from the natural environment with functionality. The space features wooden furniture, metal finishes, and a 360-degree landscape design inspired by the local countryside, as well as life-like foliage on the exterior.

“Berghaus is the latest in a series of top retailers that have committed to Gloucester Quays over the last 12 months, and is exactly the calibre of brand that the outlet has become known for,” comments Paul Carter, Asset Director at Peel Retail & Leisure. “Our dynamic line-up of outdoor-wear options is by design, with each new arrival responding to the needs of our catchment, and the opening of Berghaus’s second-ever UK standalone store and brand-new store concept will add even more diversity.”

The opening of Berghaus follows a trio of signings from world-famous F&B brands at the outlet, including the signing of international freshly-made food and organic coffee chain, Pret a Manger, and the commitment of Subway and Krispy Kreme.
