The displayed artwork is a tribute to ‘the carer’ – the people that provide indispensable care and support to us all 24/7. The animal-depicted characters are painted in vibrant colours and playful tones, all in Kristjana’s signature style.
Kristjana’s collection of 12 artworks feature ‘hero animals’ to illustrate the roles including farmers, pharmacists, police officers, cleaners, shop workers, postmen, delivery drivers, refuse collectors, nurses, teachers, doctors and public transport workers. The vibrant colourful pieces celebrate just some of the people that have helped us through the pandemic

Kristjana Williams says: “In a very small way, we feel we are able to give something back. We are so full of admiration for the amazing job our key workers have done, and continue to do, that the inspiration for my piece came very quickly and naturally.”
The installation is located on the corner of Broadwick St and Marshall St and features a rainbow of hope. It has been printed on PVC free material, concentrating on the move to a more sustainable printable media.
