Chanel acquires the French luxury label JY BH

The label has been known for decades for its outstanding craftsmanship and exceptional creations.

Founded by Jean-Yves Bohère in 1999, JY BH specializes in ready-to-wear clothing and operates four couture ateliers in France. The company specializes in craftsmanship and tailoring at the highest level – from patterns to made-to-measure production of the most delicate fabrics or fabric creations, which are harmonized through knowledge and experience. The company’s outstanding quality and craftsmanship have been appreciated by various fashion houses.

Bohère will continue his work after the takeover. The former production manager started with the acquisition of the Atelier Marque & Mod and gradually strengthened JY BH’s position by taking over the PR3 workshops in Bourges in 2005. Eight years later, Confection de Sully and Domcia Production and a design agency followed to develop women’s and men’s collections for the luxury segment.
