Recently Cineplexx opened the most advanced multiplex cinema in northern Romania. In the first weekend, more than 5.000 visitors enjoyed the unique movie experience Cineplexx provides. It is the first movie theater in Romania to offer specially designed seats for couples, as well as Premium and Deluxe comfort seats besides the unique RealD Ultimate Screen.
Cineplexx brings novelties not only to Satu Mare but to Romania
The new multiplex employs state-of-the-art technologies as RealD Ultimate Screen for the best 3D experience, 4K screen resolution and Dolby Atmos, for a unique and complete movie experience. The spectacular Dolby Atmos sound technology is installed in only one other Romanian cinema and the RealD Ultimate Screen is the first one in Romania.

The new Cineplexx also brings an absolute first in Romania: seats that have been specially designed for couples, so that viewers can enjoy watching a movie together with their loved ones. The Love Chairs lack an armrest while Love Boxes, the upgrade version, are comfortable seats designed for people who treasure intimacy and comfort. Besides that also Premium seats, leather chairs generously spaced to provide a higher level of comfort, or the Deluxe seats with an adjustable back and additional footstool have been installed.

Further openings scheduled in Romania
4 months after entering the Romanian market Cineplexx has now been already operating 3 cinemas in Bucharest and Satu Mare. In the following two years, Cineplexx Romania is planning to further expand its presence with several movie theaters in Bucharest and other major cities in the country, having already announced new locations in Sibiu and Targu Mures until first quarter of next year. Cineplexx entered the Romanian market in June this year with the takeover of Grand Cinema & More in Baneasa Shopping City in which further investments will also be made.
