“Sphera Franchise Group will thus become one of our strategic partners in the process of developing Colosseum Mall, but also of the location itself. Our location allows the opening of the two KFC restaurants, the Drive-Thru unit being the first of the three such units with direct access from Chitilei Road and our shopping center. Accordingly, the customers of the North and North-West part of the capital, of the neighbouring settlements as well as those transiting the area daily, will enjoy the presence of KFC and dozens of other new brands at Colosseum Mall”, said Mihai Dinu, General Manager of Colosseum Mall.
“Despite the many challenges we have experienced lately, KFC is regarded as a strong brand which has managed to pursue its development plans concerning the expansion of restaurants portfolio at the local level. We are glad all the more so as we finish 2020 with new perspectives for the future, by announcing a strategic partnership with Colosseum Mall in view of opening two types of KFC restaurants in the North-Western area of Bucharest: a food court unit and a Drive-Thru that will bring us one step closer to the brand’s fans. Together, we will make sure that we welcome our consumers in the safest possible conditions to enjoy their favorite KFC products.”, said Călin Ionescu, CEO of Sphera Franchise Group.
KFC restaurants meet the brand’s safety standards as well as those imposed by the authorities, given the current socio-sanitary context, providing customers with multiple facilities, such as kiosks for taking the orders more efficiently and the fusion system which consists of a customer display allowing customers to track their order.
“Colosseum Mall proposes a unique concept to restaurants and cafes operators. The food court situated at the ground floor will allow each unit to operate outdoor terraces, in a square of over 2,000 sq m, which is especially built for this purpose. Moreover, there will be direct link with the multiplex and the fitness center, as well as with the other shops and services available in the mall. ” added Doinița Ilie, MRICS, Leasing Manager Coloseum Mall.
The launching of the new commercial spaces has been rescheduled for 2021, due to the context generated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Colosseum is in the process of developing its shopping area, and by the end of 2021 it will have host over 60 new stores, fashion retailers, accessories, leisure, restaurants, coffee shops and children playgrounds.
Colosseum has existed on the Bucharest market for 9 years, and it currently hosts important brands such as Carrefour, Altex, Jysk, LC Waikiki, Sport Vision, Pepco, Leroy Merlin, 5asec, Help Net, Nedelya, Orange, IQBox, Arsis Vodafone, Inmedio, Diris Opticică Medicală, Pizza Bonita, Xpressions Beauty Salon, Esența Plant and Animax.
