Csongor Csukás takes over as Head of Property Management Europe at BNP Paribas Real Estate

BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Csongor Csukás as European Head of Property Management. He will take over the position from Lauric Leclerc at the end of March. Csukás is thus extending his area of responsibility from France to the group’s entire PM European business.

The area of buildings management covers more than 46 million sq m throughout Europe. Its main task will be to enhance the performance of the Property Management business on a pan-European level in line with the company’s 2022- 2025 strategic plan. This includes the “Human Estate” strategy, which places people at the heart of the business approach. It pools the collective intelligence of individual teams and creates a trusting relationship with the client. To do this, the company uses Property Data Insight, a tool for real-time data visualisation and benchmarking of buildings.

“Due to their central role for investors and building users, property managers are important players in the value chain of the real estate sector. I am convinced that our teams, led by Csongor Csukás, will meet the expectations and quality demands of our clients,” emphasizes Thierry Laroue-Pont, Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Csongor Csukás started his career in 2002 at BFM Ltd, a subsidiary of PBW Hungary SA and part of AEW Europe Group (from 2004 to 2008 as Managing Director and from 2008 to 2010 as Deputy CEO). He then joined BNP Paribas Real Estate as Managing Director responsible for Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic. In 2014, he took over the position as Head of International Property Management, followed by the appointment as Chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Management France in 2018. He is also an active member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and CPAI (Club des Partenaires et Acteurs de l’Immobilier) and has been the Chairman of APROMA (Association of Property Managers) since 2020.
