The operator mandate was awarded in a tender process and will start at the beginning of 2025. A project to restructure and further develop the center is also planned as part of the cooperation.
With this new contract, the two companies are extending their long-standing cooperation to another center. Alongside the new contract, Deka Immobilien has also extended the existing management contracts with ECE Marketplaces for three further centers.

“Das Schloss” shopping center, which opened in 2006 and is located directly on Schloßstraße in Berlin-Steglitz, has a rental area of around 40,000 sq m and offers around 80 stores and 560 parking spaces. The anchor tenants include Anson’s, H&M, MediaMarkt, New Yorker, Thalia, Rewe and dm. The extensive retail offering in the property is complemented by various restaurants and cafés as well as doctors’ surgeries, a fitness studio and a city library.
