Designer Outlet Soltau: Fast charging stations for electric cars

ROS Retail Outlet Shopping has connected 20 fast charging stations for electric cars to the grid. The primary aim is to improve the customer experience, and on the other hand to consistently implement the sustainability concept.

20 Tesla Superchargers, which were already connected to the grid in July, have now also been made available for free use by electric car drivers. This means that the range of fast charging options will be expanded once again, both regionally and for travelers along the nearest highway A7. “During the charging process, all e-drivers can now combine their charging time on the A7 motorway with a shopping break or use our gastronomic offer. On the way to a more sustainable future, this is a profitable solution for all sides,” says Thomas Reichenauer, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ROS Retail Outlet Shopping.

He continues: “We work every single day to further develop the center. This includes optimizations in the tenant portfolio as well as the expansion of our services – on a small and large scale. We connected the fast charging stations for electric cars to the grid, primarily to improve the customer experience, but of course also to consistently continue our sustainability concept.”

The Designer Outlet Soltau, with its brand boutiques and half-timbered cottages, has stood for premium shopping in a charming ambience since 2012. Attractively located between Hamburg, Hanover and Bremen, the Designer Outlet Soltau currently houses 60 shops with over 80 designer, fashion and lifestyle brands, including Nike, Puma, Gant, Marc O’Polo, Joop and Strellson. An exciting newcomer is Guess: The American brand opened its store on July 30, 2022 and has been inspiring ever since with a brand new shop concept and an extensive women’s, men’s and children’s collection.
