Designer Outlet Warszawa is the new flagship outlet destination of Poland

On 18th May, the eagerly anticipated official opening of the new extension of Designer Outlet Warszawa was celebrated with a pink ribbon-cutting ceremony in consideration of the Covid- 19 restrictions. With additional 5,500 sqm and more than 25 new stores and restaurants, Designer Outlet Warszawa is the new flagship outlet destination of Poland with a gross lettable area of 23,000 sqm and a unique mix of more than 130 international and Polish designer, fashion and lifestyle brands.

Ribbon-cutting ceremony with Gabi Drzewiecka

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by Gabi Drzewiecka, who is a well-known journalist, TV and radio presenter in Poland.

Marek Jakubiak, Head of Real Estate CEE of DWS Group; Thomas Reichenauer, Managing Director of the operator ROS Retail Outlet Shopping; Katarzyna Ciemińska, Centre Manager of Designer Outlet Warszawa; and Daniel Putkiewicz, Mayor of Piaseczno, made the symbolic ribbon cutting in front of the newly created entrance to the centre.

Thomas Reichenauer emphasized the importance of the project for the Polish outlet market: “We are very proud to manage this ambitious project and to celebrate this new exciting phase for Designer Outlet Warszawa, which is one of our flagship outlet destinations across Europe. With this new extension and the new acquired tenants, the centre will strengthen its pole position in Poland. Furthermore, we are strongly working on further extensions of our Polish centres, Designer Outlet Gdańsk and Designer Outlet Sosnowiec.”

More than 130 designer, fashion and lifestyle brands

After the extension, Designer Outlet Warszawa hosts now more than 130 designer, fashion & lifestyle brands, with a unique variety of international premium names. The centre welcomed many international firms like MaxMara, Twinset and Swarovski, all with their first and only outlet stores in Poland. Enriched with Lacoste, Marc O’Polo, Tous, Lindt and many more.

The premium positioning of Designer Outlet Warszawa is distinctive and will complement the existing share of international premium brands like Armani, Boss, Furla, Guess, Hogl, Liu Jo, Manila Grace, Pinko and Trussardi. Highlights of the extension are a new enlarged Nike Outlet flagship store with more than 800 sqm and a house of a leading American casual brand.

Katarzyna Ciemińska, Centre Manager of Designer Outlet Warszawa, addresses the new openings in the centre: “We have welcomed more than 30 new brands, including those not yet available in outlet format, who have opened their first and only store in Poland. It is an honour for us to have so many premium brands complementing the already attractive offer of the centre. The new brand line up makes Designer Outlet Warszawa the most attractive outlet shopping destination not only for the local residents of the Mazowsze region, but also for many international tourists”.

The newly designed food court will enhance the shopping experience

The future will be exciting with the newly designed food court, which will accommodate food concepts with a fresh & healthy food offer mixed with international well-known F&B brands. Due to the current Covid-19 measures, the premises cannot yet open. However, with the foreseeable relaxation of restrictions and the reopening of the F&B offer, Designer Outlet Warszawa will be the best day-trip destination and meeting point for families and friends to meet and relax.

After the reopening of the centre in May, customers eagerly returned to Designer Outlet Warszawa to discover the new brand offer, as well as the new facilities, and appreciate the safe shopping standards. The centre guarantees the highest level of security, meeting all required Covid-19 measures. New additional 500 parking places in the new multi-storey car park with direct access to the new centre extension will enable convenient shopping.
