DI Group scores ten leases for Forum Köpenick in Berlin

Deutsche ImmobilienGruppe (DI Group) concluded ten new and follow-up leases for 7,200 sq m in its Berlin shopping center Forum Köpenick.

Three stores will already be moving in next year, including the sports retailer Intersport and sneaker retailer Pace, which is opening its second Berlin store in the shopping center in the summer.

Four companies, including H&M, Jack Wolfskin, and Kieser Training are extending their leases ahead of schedule. Some of the contracts have long terms of ten years.

Marius Lorenz, Head of Leasing at DI Group is happily announcing that Forum Köpenick is thus almost fully leased. For CEO Benedikt Jagdfeld, “each of these deals is an active commitment to the local shopping experience. These are strong signals especially in these days when Corona is again stirring up fears.”

The Forum Köpenick has more than 130 shops on an area of 40, 000 sq m. Open since 1997, it was developed, built, and since managed by DI Group.
