The global children’s toy store features product ranges inspired by some of this year’s biggest films, including the anticipated release of Frozen 2, along with Star Wars, Toy Story 4 and The Lion King, as well as a seasonal festive range.
Guy Thomas, Head of Retail at Lendlease, commented on the opening: “Disney is a world-class brand with a strong reputation and global reach, and we are pleased they have joined Queensgate. Disney’s interactive retail experiences will draw both existing and new families to the destination, and we are certain the brand will perform brilliantly alongside our strong roster of toy brands, opening their doors ahead of the important festive trading period.”
Mike Stagg, General Manager Disney Stores Europe, added: “We’re really pleased to be bringing Disney Store back to Queensgate shopping centre in Peterborough. We’ve heard from our fans that they’ve missed having a Disney Store in this area so we’re looking forward to bringing back the magic. Guests can find exclusive Disney favourites along with all things Disney and Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. Disney Store remains the number one destination for families and gift givers to experience that Disney magic and we look forward to welcoming Guests in-store.”
CBRE and Time Retail Partners represented Queensgate, Disney acted for themselves.
