The three directly adjacent stores will occupy a total area of more than 3,000 sq m on the first floor of the Thier-Galerie. The rental agreements have been signed and the opening is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025 following extensive renovation work.
This is the largest restructuring project in the Thier-Galerie to date: at the same time, the two bestselling brands Vero Moda and Jack&Jones are moving into two separate stores within the center and significantly increasing their space in the process. The conversion for this is underway and the opening is already planned for the end of January 2025. Further new tenants are set to follow.
“This leasing hat-trick is not only a great success and an important milestone for the further development of the Thier-Galerie, but also an example of how attractive concepts continue to expand and how shopping centers remain in high demand as retail locations,” says Steffen Eric Friedlein, Managing Director Leasing at ECE Marketplaces. “This will also be an initial spark for further lettings in the Thier-Galerie.”
Thier-Galerie, which opened in 2011, is located in the heart of Dortmund’s city center and has around 160 stores on a sales area of around 33,000 sq m. Current anchor tenants already include concepts such as H&M, Primark, New Yorker and TK Maxx.
