Espacio León makes further sustainability upgrades with the installation of solar panels

Espacio León, an established shopping center managed by Multi Corporation in Spain, has announced further sustainability improvements with the installation of 1.035 solar panels on the building’s rooftop.

By harnessing the power of solar energy, the shopping center is making further progress toward accomplishing its ambitious environmental objectives, with the solar panels set to have a positive impact on the building’s goal of achieving an excellent BREEAM certification score.

Once operational, the solar panel system is projected to generate a peak power output of 558 kWp and produce 760.617 kWh of electricity annually. This clean energy production is expected to result in a 27% decrease in the overall yearly electricity consumption.

“We are delighted to announce another important step towards sustainability with the installation of the solar panel system”, said Amos Gonzalez, Senior Asset Manager of Multi Spain. “Through substantial reductions in energy consumption and our carbon footprint, we are charting a course towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.”
