ESTAMA UK grows its team with new Head of Asset and Property Management

ESTAMA UK has announced the appointment of Nick Round as the new Head of Asset and Property Management. Working closely with the wider team, Nick’s role will be focussed on driving the performance of the company’s schemes and boosting the efficiency of the operational management across ESTAMA UK’s diverse portfolio.

With over 30 years’ experience working in the commercial property sector, Nick joins from intu where he headed the Partnerships, Food & Beverage and Leisure across 16 intu centres. As the key customer contact, Nick was responsible for enhancing the experience of visitors along with delivering financial aims, attracting new brands and engaging with customers. 

During his six-years at intu, Nick also concluded over 150 transactions per annum across the Midlands region with an annual rent of £10m per annum in his position as Regional Managing Director. Nick oversaw the move of Merry Hill from a top 20 scheme to a top 10 shopping centre, earning super regional status over a three-year process involving over 50 deals. 

Prior to this, Nick worked for Colliers International and Tushingham Moore leasing a diverse mix of shopping centres across the UK. Nick is well versed in finding solutions to any problem to help shopping centres advance during what has been a challenging year for the industry.
