ETRO UNIQUE – first store for men’s bespoke tailoring in Milan has opened

Etro has already gained initial experience with tailor-made products in key markets in North America and Japan.

Etro-Unique is a store concept that combines the possibility of personalization with the highest quality standards of the customers. This bespoke tailoring is a continuation of the brand’s tradition and a new form for customers who value individuality between timeless elegance and casual styles. A seamless continuation of the fashion house’s heritage.

The made-to-order service at Via Monte Napoleone 5 in Milan is only available by appointment. Customers can not only choose between the different slim, regular and comfort silhouettes, but also select from a potpourri of 80 fabrics, 45 linings, 34 interlinings for ties, 28 button models and 9 collar felts, depending on their mood.

The Etro textile company was founded in Milan in 1969 by Gimmo Etro and quickly became famous for its special prints. Gerolamo Etro introduced the paisley motif in 1981, which is still unmistakably associated with the company today. The family business is still based in Milan and has always been inspired by its connection to art, culture, travel, sustainability and nature, among other things. The unique style describes a journey between experimentation, inspiration from other cultures and collaboration with old masters and those of the present day.
