FORUM HANAU, GERMANY WINS INTERSPORT VOSWINKEL AS NEW TENANT

Exciting news for Hanau’s city center: Sports retailer INTERSPORT Voswinkel will be opening a new store in the Forum Hanau shopping center. It will occupy an area of approximately 1,200 sq m on the first floor, with the opening planned for this fall.

“I am very pleased that we were able to attract this great tenant,” says Claudia Ullmann, center manager of Forum Hanau. “With INTERSPORT Voswinkel, Forum Hanau will gain another customer magnet that will have a high appeal to visitors from the city and the entire region, and will complement our industry and tenant mix ideally.” The new tenant will merge two store areas: the former space of the fashion store Zapata and the current area of the fashion label Only.

Marcus Neul, managing director of INTERSPORT Voswinkel states: “The collaboration with Forum Hanau went very well. We are already looking forward to our new store. With a clear focus on the top brands in sports, expert advice, and services, we will provide all sports enthusiasts in Hanau and the surrounding area with a completely new sports shopping experience on-site and online.” For Hanau’s mayor Claus Kaminsky, the newcomer is a great addition to his city: “Our committed location marketing is paying off. The arrival of INTERSPORT demonstrates the positive development of the location, and we are pleased to have this successful company as a new anchor in Hanau’s city center, which is anything but self-evident in these times.”

Tenants only: Relocation within Forum Hanau

To make room for INTERSPORT, the Only store will move from the first floor to the ground floor of the shopping center in early May and will expand its area in the process. “We are very pleased with this commitment to the location and the center because it shows that good, cooperative collaboration pays off for everyone involved,” says Ullmann.
