GCSP’s Rüdiger Pleus joins R8tech as new advisor

The long-time Managing Director of GCSP (German Council of Shopping Centers), Rüdiger Pleus, has joined the Estonian company, R8 Technologies (R8tech), as advisor.

Rüdiger Pleus, who was the head of GCSP for more than 20 years as an authorized representative of the board, has joined the R8tech team. The GCSP represents the interests of owners and operators of all major commercial centers and retail properties in Germany. R8tech helps commercial real estate companies address global ESG and efficiency challenges.

Siim Täkker, CEO of R8 Technologies says: “Our digital solutions contribute to both putting the brakes on global warming and increasing the efficiency associated with commercial property management. Rüdiger Pleus’ many years of experience as Managing Director of the GCSP will help us to intensify the presentation and spread of our solution even faster.”

R8 Technologies (R8tech) today operates in 18 different countries, including Austria, Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, etc. Customers include WeWork, CBRE, EDP, Radisson Blu, and more.  

Other managers who have joined and taken on an executive role are Ants Vasar (Estonia, former long-time manager of Viru Center), Klaus Ek (Finland, former manager of SOKOS Viru Hotell), Allan Hani (Estonia, former state-owned real estate company of Estonia), and Kristo Peerna (Estonia, former founder and manager of Ermeesia).
