Hamburg STADTHÖFE continues on its successful course

Full occupancy of the Görtz Palais am Neuen Wall has been achieved. The range of restaurants and retail outlets has been expanded and innovative developments are being driven forward. A modern bicycle garage will open this year.

Between the idyllic canals and the hustle and bustle of Hamburg’s city center, the listed STADTHÖFE continue their success story. Covering an area of around 100,000 sq m, they offer an inviting ensemble of lovingly designed courtyards, unique buildings and a diverse range of hotels, restaurants and around 50 retail outlets.

The Görtz-Palais, the oldest building in the STADTHÖFE ensemble with its impressive baroque façade, has been fully let and is therefore a symbol of the ongoing success of this location. Despite challenging market conditions in the real estate sector, the owner has successfully continued to let the STADTHÖFE in recent months.

Expansion of the gastronomic offering

The year 2023 brought an authentic culinary experience of Japanese cuisine to STADTHÖFE with the opening of IKINI Ramen in June. The ARDA restaurant, which specializes in Turkish BBQ and tapas, opened in April, expanding the diversity of STADTHÖFE’s gastronomic offering.

New tenants for the Görtz Palais

The exclusive children’s fashion store Petite Poupette opened in mid-November in the STADTHÖFE ensemble on the east side of the Görtz Palais and offers high-quality children’s clothing in the luxury segment.

Another important addition is the future presence of the renowned Penske Sportwagen GmbH, which took over the west area of the Görtz Palais on December 1, 2023. Penske Sportwagen is expected to open an exclusive showroom for Ferrari in spring 2024. This strategic decision not only underlines the quality of the tenant mix, but also emphasizes the owner’s efforts to offer a wide range of experiences and services.

Bicycle garage with innovative features

In response to the increasing demand for bicycle parking spaces, STADTHÖFE is planning to build a modern bicycle garage in the basement of the Görtz Palais, probably in the spring of next year. With around 158 bicycle parking spaces, this will not only include charging stations for e-bikes, but will also offer lockers for the secure storage of helmets and personal belongings. The high demand for lockable bicycle parking spaces is already reflected in the interest shown by several companies in renting company allotments for their employees
