HBB takes over center management for the NordWestZentrum in Frankfurt

In cooperation with Josef Buchmann Immobilien HBB aims to further develop the tenants mix and adapt the property to changing market conditions.

The NordWestZentrum (NWZ), which opened in 1968, was expanded several times, most recently in 2018. It is one of the largest and most frequented shopping centers in Germany. Consumers find 160 stores, restaurants and service facilities on over 90,000 sq m² of rental space. Anchor tenants are Primark, Media Markt, REWE Center, Decathlon, Zara, P&C West, Müller Drogerie, H&M and C&A. The NWZ offers 3,500 car parking spaces and is connected to public transport via its own subway station and a central bus station. The NordWestZentrum is also home to numerous public services like a swimming pool, an event hall, a basketball hall, the city library, a kindergarten and an adult education center.

The overall property also includes apartments, offices, a hotel, medical services and a gas station. This makes the NWZ, with its total area of ​​around 360,000 sq m, the central meeting point for the population in north-west Frankfurt and the entire catchment area.

Mixed-use experience

In cooperation with Josef Buchmann Immobilien HBB aims to further develop the tenants mix and adapt the property to changing market conditions. In addition to shopping centers, HBB Group is a specialist for the asset classes offices, apartments, hotels and nursing homes. This expertise should be benefical for the further development of NordWestZentrum.
