The 2021 Top Employers have been announced and HMSHost has been recognised as a Top Employer in The Netherlands. Being certified as a Top Employer showcases a company’s dedication to a better world of work for their people as demonstrated through excellent HR policies and people practices. As the home of the international office, the award provides a strong indication of the company’s global operations, with the Netherlands HR informing global practices.
The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. This survey covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion and more.
Kimberly DeMello, VP of Human Resources for HMSHost International, says:
“As a global employer of around 12,000 people, we are so proud to have our people practices and processes recognised in this way. Positioning us as a national leader in our industry, this certification is a public statement of the value we place on our people, and an indication of the talent that we possess. Attracting and retaining top talent paves the way for our growth, while our culture ensures positive experiences of our guests.”
Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink says:
“Despite the challenging year we have experienced (which has certainly made an impact on organisations around the globe), HMSHost has continued to demonstrate the power of putting their people first in the workplace. We are proud to share this year’s announcement and congratulate the organisations who have been certified in their respective countries through the Top Employers Institute programme.”
The programme has certified and recognised more than 1,600 Top Employers in 120 countries/regions across five continents.
