Howard de Walden signs trio of retail deals

The Howard de Walden Estate is pleased to announce that it has signed two new leasing deals – in addition to a significant extension for The Kooples – in Marylebone Village. The deals encompass brands across the retail sector, adding to the distinctive offering across the estate.

New brands joining the estate include London-based fashion brand, RIXO, and tailoring-focused menswear brand, Anglo-Italian Company.

Acclaimed chef Yotam Ottolenghi, also opened a restaurant in Marylebone Lane on 1 July.

A full summary of updates and further information is provided below:

  • RIXO, the female-founded, London-based fashion brand has signed for 1,000 sq ft on 27 Marylebone High Street
  • Anglo-Italian Company, a tailoring focused menswear brand, will open its second location in London in a 630 sq ft space 
  • Leading French fashion retailer, the Kooples, is moving from 95 Marylebone High Street to 110 Marylebone High Street, increasing the size of its space from 1,250 sq ft to over 2,000 sq ft. 110 Marylebone High Street forms part of a mixed-use site that reflects the broad portfolio that Howard de Walden has to offer. It was recently announced that 13,000 sq ft of commercial space here was taken on by three new occupiers, US venture capital firm Sequoia Capital, leading maritime tech company Silverstream Technologies and UK real estate investor Ashby Capital
  • Finally, as previously announced Ottolenghi has taken 1,500 sq ft of space on Marylebone Lane and opened its doors on 1 July
