In her position as Head of Advisory she will take a pivotal role in developing the range of iMallinvest services for institutional fund and asset managers from Germany and Europe further on the back of enhanced market demand.
Before joining the company, for a period of nine years Andres was successfully working for the global investment manager Nuveen Real Estate, where she was inter alia acting as Head of Retail in Germany. Thereby, she oversaw the strategic asset management of Nuveen’s real estate portfolio, including the negotiation of long-term partnerships with key tenants. Between 2001 and 2012 Andres spent 11 years working at Cushman & Wakefield LLP, where she advised on real estate transactions and played a leading role in building up the property and asset management business. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Kathrin Andres is a true expert for the strategic and operational asset management as well as for M&A processes. She also built-up special knowledge of digital transformation processes in the real estate industry and is co-chairing is Asset Management panel of the German Council of Shopping Places.
