Hej!Workstation bridges the gap between remote work and traditional office setups. This smaller, more accessible co-working concept is designed to meet the needs of the local community, with its hyper-local approach underlining Ingka Centres commitment to providing spaces tailored to the people who will be using them. This new co-working space is one of the examples of how Ingka Centres continues to develop and implement its meeting place concept, offering local communities more than just a place to shop and creating “work/live/play” spaces for the local communities to flourish.
“We are excited to welcome Hej!Workstation to Avion in Bratislava,” said Andrea Aujeská, Meeting Place Manager, and added, “The name speaks for itself. Hej! means hello in Swedish, used casually as a greeting between friends and equals – a way to spark new conversations and ideas. We see Hej!Workstation as a local hub for creative minds, entrepreneurs and businesses; offering a variety of accessible workspaces to foster collaboration and growth. It’s where flexibility meets community and where work meets well-being.”
The space is thoughtfully designed and equipped with IKEA for Business furniture to ensure the best possible workstation experience for the workers. Hej!Workstation will occupy 175 sq m and afford all types of workers the freedom to work in the way that they like, whether they be entrepreneurs or freelancers, or small teams looking for a flexible place to work on the go. In addition to the open workplaces, the meeting room is also available and requires prepaid booking with a discount for IKEA Family members.
