JD Worldwide Opens Fashion Goods Warehouse in Paris

The warehouse is located in a suburb of Paris in Val-d’Oise. It mainly stocks fashion items from over hundred European brands such as clothing, jewelry and beauty products.

JD Worldwide is the one-stop import and export shopping platform of JD.com, which aims to facilitate the entry of European brands into the Chinese market through efficient fulfillment solutions.

Louis Zhang, General Manager of Luxury & Fashion at JD Worldwide, said: “Our strategy focuses on extending our supply chain to the locations where the brands are based. This approach not only reduces fulfillment costs for local sellers, but also provides faster delivery, competitive prices and reliable service for our customers. This innovative approach is expected to open up new opportunities for more SMEs and specialty brands from Europe and give them access to the dynamic Chinese fashion market.”

The newly opened warehouse is also connected to its own online store. In addition to the fast availability of orders via the JD app in China, the authenticity of the products can be quickly checked with the JD Smart Check service so that shipping can be prepared promptly. This easy accessibility to the latest fashion items combined with advanced logistics promises fast delivery in addition to the expanded range from Europe. With a large network of buyers and multiple sourcing centers, distribution efficiency will be improved for brand partners around the world.

JD Worldwide is JD.com’s one-stop platform for imported and exported goods. Anchored in cross-border e-commerce and duty-free retail, the “Global Buy” portal leverages JD’s digitally intelligent supply chain to enhance its open ecosystem in consumer scenarios, marketing, quality, and business development, making it easier for brands and retailers to enter the Chinese market.
