The fast food giant is planning to open around 500 new restaurants in Germany in the coming years and intends to invest a total of three billion euros.

The expansion is expected to create a total of 35,000 new jobs in Germany over the next ten years. Currently, the company employs 65,000 people and operates 1,388 restaurants across Germany.

According to a recent value creation study conducted by the company in collaboration with the Pestel economic research institute, McDonald’s generated added value of around 4.3 billion euros in Germany in 2022 alone.
