NEINVER unveils new look for F&B Plaza at Viladecans The Style Outlets

NEINVER has put the finishing touches on the revamped F&B Plaza at Viladecans The Style Outlets, the only outlet center in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area. Aimed at rejuvenating the center’s main social and leisure zone, the refurbishment has resulted in enhanced terraced dining areas, seating and events spaces, contributing to a more all-round shopping experience.

The space, located on the ground floor, is home to leading F&B brands such as Five Guys, Casa Carmen, Grosso Napoletano, Santa Gloria, GreenVita Brunch&Coffee and Udon — all with outdoor seating. The mood is Mediterranean: warm, bright and contemporary, reflecting the center’s overall look and feel.

Sustainability is another central theme, with the use of energy-efficient lighting and natural materials, such as wood, ceramics and organic fibers. The new design brings nature right into the heart of the center, featuring pergolas and green roofs that help purify the air and protect diners from the sun and wind. For flexibility, modular elements including planters, totem poles and natural wooden benches with reconfigurable padding have been introduced to break up the space and create a more inviting atmosphere.

“Today’s consumers see shopping as a form of leisure, and we wanted to add a new layer to that experience. Over the last year, we have been working hard to expand the range of dining options on offer, extending the F&B zone to 15% of gross lettable area. Our second goal was to refresh the look and feel of the space, creating an uplifting environment where visitors can enjoy some special moments that enrich the shopping experience,” comments Óscar Mata, Asset Manager Director of NEINVER Spain.

With a GLA of 20,000 sq m, Viladecans The Style Outlets offers a comprehensive choice of over 15 food and beverage brands. Restaurants in the F&B Plaza remain open after regular shopping hours. Visitors can also sample from four food trucks stationed throughout the center (Carte D’Or, llao llao The Bros, Tío bigotes and Schara), grab a coffee from the Starbucks at the main entrance or drop into Greenvita, Burger King and Sushisom, all of which can be found on the first floor.

The redesign is the work of architecture studio Batlle i Roig, known internationally for its flair for combining architecture, landscaping and urban design.
