New Breuninger flagship store opens in Munich

With stores in twelve German cities, one store in Luxembourg and an online store in the premium and luxury segment represented in ten countries, Breuninger is one of the leading omnichannel department stores in Europe.

During the ‘Breuninger Welcome Days’ from July 7 to 8, visitors could rediscover the traditional house with live music, cool drinks and special action highlights. After the takeover of Modehaus Kronen, the majority of the total 12,500 sq m was presented in new splendor. The final completion of all floors will take place in the fall. An amount in the double-digit million range was invested in the extensive remodeling measures, according to the company. Exclusive designer brands, beauty products will be presented on six floors. With around 1,000 sq m, the company offers one of the largest women’s shoe worlds in the upscale and high-fashion segment in southern Germany. From August, there will also be a new bar in Munich: the in-house bar concept Eduard’s by Breuninger.

Much emphasis is placed on the range of services: in Munich, the in-house alteration, repair and personalization studio is b_tailored. Breuninger also offers a free personal shopping service and individual advice with trained fashion consultants. BMW could be won as a cooperation partner for the shuttle service after an extensive shopping tour.

Attention was paid to the connection with online retailing: For example, items can be returned to the store via online reservation, and via Click & Collect the order arrives at the desired Breuninger store within one to two days without shipping costs.
