Newsec appoints Kim Andersen as new MD in Denmark

Newsec Property Asset Management has made an agreement with a new Managing Director of the Danish division of the Nordic property asset manager. The new Managing Director, Kim Andersen, joins the company from a position as Vice President of the insurance company, If Skadeforsikring. As from 1 September 2021, Kim Andersen will lead the 575 employees based in Denmark and join the Nordic management team of Newsec.

Kim Andersen has experience from Nordic organisations and has been employed with If Skadeforsikring for the past seven years, most recently as Vice President, Head of Sales & Service, where he was in charge of a sales organisation with 300 employees. During his employment with If Skadeforsikring, he focused on digital transformation, business development, culture and strategic partnerships in particular.

Kim has close to 20 years’ experience with collaborations in Nordic businesses and a strong track record in transforming business areas and organisations. These qualities make Kim the perfect person to head up Newsec’s Danish division and to fulfil our ambitions of expanding in the Danish and Nordic markets,” says Björn Lindeborg, CEO of Newsec Property Asset Management.

Property management in rapid development

The 38-year-old new MD of Newsec in Denmark is looking forward to the next step in his career and to using his experience in a company and a sector in rapid development.“I am truly looking forward to starting this journey and to meeting my new colleagues. Kim Andersen will take up the position as Managing Director of Newsec Property Asset Management Denmark A/S on 1 September 2021, replacing Thomas Kempf who moved to Forenede Service A/S on 1 May 2021.Newsec Property Asset Management is Northern Europe’s largest property asset manager with a total of 46 million square metres under management.
