Even the stores that would be allowed open according to the government’s edict will remain closed to avoid larger gatherings of people. With this decision, the shopping center’s operator, SES Spar European Shopping Centers, supports the Slovenian government’s measures to contain COVID-19. The new opening date will take the latest developments of this situation into consideration and will be announced at a later time.
ALEJA, Slovenia’s state-of-the-art shopping center, is completed. However, the opening of the 32,000-sq m shopping mall will be postponed to support the Slovenian government’s efforts to contain the coronavirus.
“The health and safety of all people–customers as well as employees–are our top priorities. This decision is important and necessary, and was made in coordination with our shop partners who would have been allowed to open despite the restrictions resulting from the coronavirus outbreak,” says Marcus Wild, CEO SES Spar European Shopping Centers.
The new opening date will be announced at a later time.
