Otto Group Opens New Logistics Center In Poland

Otto Group opens one of the most modern and largest logistics centers in Europe in Iłowa, Poland.

The new distribution center in Iłowa, which was built on an impressive 260,000 sq m site, sets new standards in logistics. The result is a building complex spread over nine halls with a floor area of around 118,000 sq m and a usable area of 268,000 sq m.

The mid three-digit million euro investment in the new logistics center underlines the Group’s commitment to innovative logistics and to Europe as a business location. Acting as a new hub for online trading, the location will now expand the Otto Group’s logistics network and European focus.

The Otto Group has reached another milestone with the opening of the logistics center in Iłowa. The site is operated by the Polish company Hermes Fulfilment Sp. z o.o., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Hermes Fulfilment Group based in Hamburg. In Iłowa, Hermes Fulfilment has planned and built a completely new site in another European country for the first time in the company’s history.
