Philipp Plein started Italy rollout in Bergamo

The first flagship store of Plein Sport in Italy was opened on an area of about 120 sq m in the Orio Center in Bergamo.

Here, the German designer is starting its expansion tour with a planned 300 to 400 stores by 2025, mostly in shopping center locations. For this rollout, a store concept was developed that is modular and compact without losing an exceptional customer experience. The Bergamo store is the 20th of its kind, targeting the fitness-conscious audience. The prices of this Sport-Line are deliberately below the known price range in order to reach new target groups beyond the luxury segment. In addition to products related to sports, sunglasses and Timex watches are also presented.

This special event was also supported by the Plein Sport truck in the parking lot of the shopping center. Plein designed a truck covered in mirrors to offer a mobile shopping experience for its customers. The “traveling” store travels throughout Europe and has now arrived in Lombardy to welcome fans and customers from all over northern Italy.
