Post-lockdown times represents a new episode for retail and leisure operators, leaving difficult financial challenges in view of their financial obligations. Across many European countries, such as Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, and the UK., retailers and landlords are looking at margin-based rent, proportions of online sales, and asset valuation. This study looks at how the European market is adapting to hybrid models of operation and turnover rents.
