ROBERT SKLÁDAL JOINS THE CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD RETAIL TEAM

Robert Skládal joins the Cushman & Wakefield Retail Agency team as a Partner. The experienced retail market professional will lead the shopping centers team.

Since October 2022, Robert Skládal holds the post of the Head of Shopping Center Leasing and Releasing at Cushman & Wakefield.

Skládal has over 25 years of experience in various segments of the real estate market, including the development of new shopping centers, leasing strategy and plans, identifying potential tenants, leasing negotiations, leasing of existing shopping centers, renewals, re-let, and asset management. He has participated in projects with a total GLA of more than 2.5 million sq m in 2,300 shops across the world. He has worked in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, India, United Kingdom and United States. ​

He spent the last two years in INGKA Centres in India where he was responsible for leasing two mixed use projects with more than 250,000 sq m of GLA.​ He held a similar role at MULTI Development (Westfield Chodov, Olympia Brno, Olympia Plzeň, Olympia Olomouc).​ He had been focuing on the leasing of existing shopping centrers for Unibail Rodamco (Westfield Chodov, Centrum Černý most, development of Arkády Pankrác) and for INGKA Centres in Russia, amounting to a total of 14 shopping centers. As Senior Asset Manager in GE Real Estate Central Europe, he was responsible for assets in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. He also has garnered experiences in projects with leasing involvement in the past and just after acquisition, such as the Kings Mall in London, 6×6 in San Francisco​.

In his new role, Robert Skládal will be responsible for Cushman & Wakefield’s activities related to shopping center leasing and advisory. He will focus on the development of new projects, such as Dornych in Brno, Savarin in Prague, and Eurovea in Bratislava. He will also take care of the portfolio of nearly 40 shopping centers with a total area of almost one million sq m, whose leasing and property management Cushman & Wakefield is in charge of.
