Rossmann To Open Its First Store In Switzerland

ROSSMANN has long been known and loved by Swiss customers who previously had to travel to Germany to do their shopping. Despite initial plans to open its first store next year, the drugstore company secured the opening for already this year, with more to follow.

The store located in the Emmen Center in Luzern will occupy an area of around 500 sq m. Regarding the store´s product range, special focus will be put on cosmetics, (organic) food, health, home care and wellness. In addition to the product range, the highlights on site will be the modern store design and the two self-checkout tills.

“The Emmen Center is centrally located and is a popular shopping destination. The ideal connections and free parking also speak for themselves. With numerous well-known stores and smaller specialist stores in the immediate vicinity, customers can enjoy an all-round successful shopping experience,” says Fabrizio D’Ascenzo, Managing Director of ROSSMANN Switzerland.

The stores currently planned for Switzerland range between 400 and 700 sq m. This marks ROSSMANN’s ninth foreign subsidiary: after Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Albania, Kosovo, Turkey, Spain and online in Denmark, Switzerland is now being added.
