Silent Piano Experience at Eurovea Square

Using headphones, each visitor had the experience of being in his/her own concert hall.

Viva Musica! festival, in collaboration with Yamaha Music Europe, as part of its 15th yearly event has prepared a special night-time silent concert, which was held on August 8, 2019 in Bratislava’s much-loved Eurovea Square. Entitled Yamaha Silent Experience, it presented a unique musical instrument which unites the qualities of a top-quality acoustic concert piano with innovative technologies.

Using headphones, each visitor  had the experience of being in his/her own concert hall, at a private concert, which was enjoyed in the inimitable atmosphere of a summer night in Bratislava. A selection from the best in (not only) classical music was played by the virtuoso Slovak pianist Peter Šandor. The uncommon experience of this concert was enhanced by the placing of the grand piano right on the water surface of the fountain.
